Following each behavior consultation, Dr. Modes will develop a tailored behavior plan for your pet. A written summary will be provided electronically for best implementation, and can be shared with other professionals as desired.

After the initial evaluation, we provide follow-up consultations to monitor your pet’s progress and make any necessary adjustments to their behavior plan.

As part of our service, we provide behavior modification support. This includes recommendations for changes in your pet’s environment or routine that can help address behavioral issues.

Meeting directly with a veterinary behavior specialist is always ideal, but not always possible or in the pet’s best interest. This program allows Dr. Modes to consult directly with your primary care veterinarian. This collaborative approach ensures a comprehensive understanding of your pet’s medical and behavioral history.

If necessary, we are happy to provide referrals to trusted behavior consultants (trainers). These professionals can provide additional support and guidance in implementing the behavior plan and managing your pet’s behavior. Often this is essential for optimal improvement.
